March 21 – Angels and Demons (Anaheim to Solana Beach) (80 mi)

An 80 mile cruise from the Anaheim Amtrak Station to the Solana Beach Pizza Port.  Angels & Demons features beautiful coastal views, a ride on the Balboa Island Ferry and rolling through Camp Pendleton.  Afterwards enjoy pizza and beer before taking the 3:31 pm 583 Pacific Surfliner from Solana Beach returning to Anaheim at 5:03PM.

• Camp Pendleton Recreational Bicyclist Pass Required.   After October 1, 2018, cyclists can no longer ride through Camp Pendleton without obtaining a DBIDS Recreational Bicyclist Pass.  Cyclists must obtain a pass in person in advance. The alternative method of getting from Las Pulgas to Oceanside is on the shoulder of I-5.  While legal, it is strongly discouraged. • If you do not have a Camp Pendleton Recreational Bicyclist Pass, you may take the Pacific Surfliner from San Clemente Pier (at 11:22 AM) to Oceanside.  You may resume the ride from there.

• $24.40 - 3:31 pm 583 Pacific Surfliner from Solana Beach returning to Anaheim at 5:03pm

• $1.25 Balboa Island Ferry (Bicycle and Adult)

• No Fee - Bike return from Solana Beach to Anaheim via team vehicle.
