Cal Tri Events is pleased to announce the addition of 2021 Cal Tri Lake Perris to the recent national expansion
2021 CAL TRI LAKE PERRIS – 5.9.21 is located 11 miles south of Riverside off Highway 60 within proximity to several major population centers including Anaheim (55 miles) and LA (70 miles) to the west and San Diego (90 miles) to the south. Visitors to the 8,200-acre Lake Perris State Recreation Area (SRA) can enjoy an abundance of recreational activities, including hiking, bicycling, fishing, swimming, picnicking, camping, rock climbing, horseback riding, and visiting the Ya’i Heki’ Regional Indian Museum. It is one of the most popular recreation lakes along the State Water Project.
RACE COURSE. Athletes will swim in the same waters that will be used as part of the 2028 LA Olympics canoe and rowing competition. The sprint course is a 400-yard swim, a hilly, 16.3-mile bike with 1000’ of elevation, and 5K run. The Olympic course is a 1,640-yard swim, a 24-mile bike with 1,500’ of elevation, and a 10K run that includes running on the Lake Perris Dam.
RACE OPTIONS. Olympic Distance (Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, SwimBike, SwimRun, 1640 Yard Swim & 10K Run) and Sprint Distance (Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, SwimBike, SwimRun, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run). There is something for everyone!
