I must not have had enough coffee yet because I don’t see an Edit My Profile option. 🙁

Once you’re logged in, it’ll say ‘Howdy [NAME]’ in the upper right corner (on desktop at least). Click that to get to your profile.

You can log in through the WordPress site here then to Gravatar, then who knows what you do. Or connect a Facebook account and it’s so much easier! Plus it makes logging in a breeze.

Hey Kim, I’m not finding the edit my profile option either. However I think if you sign in with Facebook it will just carry over your profile picture.

Ok. I switched to using my Facebook account so let’s see if that helps. All my posts under my email address better count for the March challenge though…I want that wetsuit. 🙂

Just signed up for CA Tri and super excited to be a part of this community! I’m a 2nd year triathlete, with 3 olympic tri’s under my belt and planning on 4 olympic tri’s this year in SoCal starting with the LA Tri Series #3 in San Dimas, CA in May. Also just discovered the CA Tri Soup podcast on Stitcher and really loving the interviews by Thom Richmond. The first episode with USAT CEO Rocky Harris was really inspiring to hear about his ideas and passion around growing the sport of triathlon and making it more accessible to more people.

In 2017, the sport of triathlon, combined with going vegetarian and really focusing on optimum health, completely transformed my life. At the end of 2016, my cholesterol levels were going into the danger zone and at 190 pounds and 5’9″ tall I was considered obese according to BMI. That all changed in 2017 when I committed myself to triathlon training and healthy eating. A little over a year later at age 36, I’m 165 pounds, my cholesterol, blood pressure and other health stats are now excellent and the energy I have not just for training, but working 40 hours a week and raising my 1.5 year old daughter with my wife has been profound and transformative not just for my body, but my mind and spirit, as well.

With Americas kids becoming more obese and facing increased diseases and being a new father myself, I’m excited to see the CA Tri community, USAT and the collective US tri community in general, work to expand this sport and lifestyle to people that need it the most, especially our kids.

Happy to join this community (It’s the first one I’ve joined) and hoping I will meet many of the LA members at a race or group training day this year! Happy 2018 training, racing and living!
